Rover photographs a strange structure on Mars!

This is a strange orb shaped structure on Mars that sticks out from the mountain behind it! Possibly covered in Martian Dust this structure could be some kind of vent, pipe or something for the underground? Looking at the Rover Photos today and I saw a white structure that stuck out way in the back of the Mars landscape. Here is the link to the photohttp://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/msl/multimed... I zoomed in and it seemed even stranger. Proof of life on Mars?
